North America Union Patent and Trademark Office and North America Intellectual Property Corporation conduct NAIP Portal Site (hereinafter referred to as the “NAIP Portal”)
The NAIP Portal attaches great importance to your personal information and privacy, and fully complies with the “Computer-Processed Personal Data Protection Law" of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and this Privacy Policy. Unless in a manner fully compliant with the “Computer-Processed Personal Data Protection Law" and this Private Policy, the NAIP Portal will not collect or utilize your personal information.

NAIP Portal servers automatically log information about the pages you have browsed, your IP address and Internet domain name for the purpose of evaluating improvements in content and systems administration. The information collected is used only by site administrators to perform statistical analyses and is not used in coordination with any personally identifiable data analyses.
When you create a NAIP Portal Member account or adjust your personal settings, the NAIP Portal places a “cookie” (a uniquely identifiable text file) onto your computer. The NAIP Portal also strictly prohibits unauthorized use of your information by NAIP’s employees.

Although the NAIP Portal makes every effort protect your email, you accept the risk that this information, through illegal means or circumstances beyond the control of the NAIP Portal, may be made publicly available or obtained by others. The NAIP Portal is neither responsible for the behavior of these persons nor liable for any damages arising from their actions. Please consider carefully which information you choose to divulge.
This Privacy Policy takes immediate effect. However, due to social and legal changes as well as technological advances, the NAIP Portal reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time to ensure your privacy. The NAIP Portal will make every effort to notify you of significant changes as quickly as possible.
