Trademark
General trademark.
Collective mark
A sign registered in the name of union, association, or other group with legal personality indicates the goods/services provided by their members.
Certification mark
A sign serves to certify specific quality, precision, material, manufacture method, place of origin, or other characteristics of goods/services of others.
Collective membership mark
A sign serves to identify the membership of members in an association, society or any other group which is a juridical person and distinguish.
Basic Information
2. The following procedures became effective on Dec. 27, 2021.
It must be requested between 3rd and 10th year after the registration date. Until December 27, 2023, however, a proceeding may be requested for any registration at least three years old, regardless of the ten-year limit.
B. Reexamination proceeding
It must be requested within the first five years after registration.
